Later in its life serving as an SSG (Navy's first guided missile submarine, I might add), the Tunny made news when a Regulus-1 Missile it fired crash landed on the island of Oahu. Former Tunny Executive Officer, Pete Fullinwider is credited with this scanned image of the copy of the article. It is his handwriting on the image.
Tunny Reunion held in Charleston, SC 2005 (Click link to download word document) Here's a sample of the 12-page brochure that was produced after the Reunion was held. Lots of great photos of attendees. One of the finest Reunion's I ever attended.
